etfiverse privacy policy: what data we collect, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights. No account, no profiling of our own.
The controller of personal data collected through etfiverse.com is Alfonso Licciardi.
For any request concerning your personal data you can write to hello@etfiverse.com.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO): the activity does not fall within the cases where art. 37 GDPR makes one mandatory.
etfiverse is an informational comparison portal for UCITS ETFs. You do not need to register to use it, we do not ask you for an account and we do not ask you for personal data. The site is made of static pages and does not profile visitors for commercial purposes of our own.
The data concerning you comes down to four categories: the technical data any server records when you visit a website, your cookie choice, technical measurements of page speed, and aggregate statistics on how the site is used. The site also includes Google AdSense advertising code: the related processing remains subject to your consent.
In detail, and in full:
The site does not set profiling cookies of its own. Any cookies and similar technologies present come from the third-party services described in this policy.
On your first visit, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, a banner appears allowing you to accept, reject or choose purpose by purpose. The banner is operated by Clickio, a consent management platform registered with IAB Europe's Transparency & Consent Framework.
You can change your mind at any time by reopening the preferences panel from the widget available on the site's pages. Rejecting does not limit access to content: the site remains fully usable.
Technical cookies strictly necessary to deliver the site and to remember your choice do not require consent, as provided by the ePrivacy Directive.
The site includes Google AdSense advertising code (publisher ID ca-pub-9843703988625066) on every page. Your browser therefore contacts Google's servers on each visit, even when no advertisement is visible.
No ad units are shown yet: advertising is in the process of being switched on. Until you give consent, Google's Consent Mode stays set to denied for advertising purposes (ad_storage and ad_user_data): no advertising cookie is set and any ads would be non-personalised. The following applies:
Some links to brokers are affiliate links: if you open a broker's site from one of them and sign up for a service, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. The link tells the broker where you came from; the processing of your data on the broker's site is governed by the broker's own policy, not this one.
The same applies to every other external site reached from our links — issuer documents, social profiles, exchange websites: we do not control their processing and are not responsible for it.
The newsletter sign-up form on the site is currently a non-functioning demonstration: addresses entered are not transmitted, stored or used in any way.
When the newsletter goes live, sign-up will require explicit consent and email confirmation (double opt-in), and you will be able to unsubscribe from any message with one click. This policy will be updated before that happens.
Every processing operation has a legal basis:
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing purposes. It is accessible to the providers that enable us to deliver the service, acting as processors or as independent controllers for their own purposes:
Some of the providers listed may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or the standard contractual clauses together with any supplementary measures required.
As a data subject you may exercise the rights set out in articles 15 to 22 GDPR:
The site is aimed at an adult audience and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it without delay.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the last-updated date shown at the top. If changes affect processing based on consent, we will ask you again.
This policy is available in five languages. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Italian version prevails.
